With great pleasure, I salute and proudly congratulate the graduates and completers of SY 2019-2020! 

Be it graduation or moving-up, it is the proudest stage in your student’s life where you find yourself a step higher towards realizing your aspirations in life.

Sans the usual fanfare, it is a significant turning point worth cherishing with the persons who have endeavored and sacrificed for you and with you to reach this far. Thus, my congratulations as well to your family, teachers and friends who provided you with all the guidance and support that you needed to survive and achieve another milestone in your life .

Your achievement today opens up more opportunities as well as challenges and I believe that you are ready to face greater adversities because your education has stimulated and unleashed the wisdom and inner potential in you. Without halting, and if you allow to nourish you, your education will continue to build you up to become great leaders and future bearers of our society.

Great leaders and positive contributors are what we need in a disaster-prone and pandemic-vulnerable country like ours. Hence, may you be willing to be champions of our nation’s future. May your resiliency as well as your values keep you grounded yet motivated to pursue what the uncertain future offers you. Let not this COVID-19
pandemic overshadow the importance of your achievement!

To our dear parents, education stakeholders, school administrators, and fellow teachers, kudos to all of you. You have been our best integral partners in shaping our children. The noblest accolade goes to you! 

You are the pillars and strongholds behind the success of our learners. This momentous event is an attestation of our endless collaborative commitment to ensure equitable quality education as emphasized in this year’s theme, “Sulong Edukalidad: Championing the Nation’s Future.”

Sulong Edukalidad is DepEd’s collaborative, cooperative, and tangible call for quality education which can be achieved with you, our stakeholders. We have been steadfast partners over the years but a greater horizon awaits us as we continue to be more assertive in our quest for quality education.
